Mint Tea is an herbal infusion (Tisane) of mint leaves. Mint Tea can be brewed by steeping fresh mint leaves in hot (not quite boiling water), or can be purchased as a dried blend and brewed like other teas.

There are many health benefits of the herb Mint. Mint is great for soothing stomach aches and digestion. Mint teas have also shown great promise at easing the discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome, and even at slowing the growth of many of the most harmful bacteria and fungi. The well-documented antifungal properties of mint are thought to play a role in the treatment of asthma and many allergy conditions as well.

Mint might even reduce the risk of some cancers. Mint is known to contain a phytonutrient called perillyl alcohol, which has been shown in studies on animals to prevent the formation of colon, skin and lung cancer.

Mint tea can be brewed by steeping fresh mint leaves in hot (not quite boiling water), or can be purchased as a prepared mixture.

Green tea is a type of tea made solely with the leaves of Camellia sinensis, that has undergone minimal oxidation during processing.

Green Tea originates from China and has become associated with many cultures in Asia from Japan to the Middle East. Recently, it has become more widespread in the West, where Black Tea is traditionally consumed. Many varieties of green tea have been created in countries where it is grown. These varieties can differ substantially due to variable growing conditions, processing and harvesting time.

Over the last few decades green tea has been subjected to many scientific and medical studies to determine the extent of its long-purported health benefits, with some evidence suggesting regular green tea drinkers may have lower chances of heart disease and developing certain types of cancer. Green Tea has also been claimed useful for weight loss management.
